Which cookies BeyDock uses, why, and how you control them.
Effective: October 11, 2026
This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies BeyDock, operated by Beyler LLC, uses, and how you can control them. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They are widely used to make sites work, to remember your choices and to give site owners information. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way, and this policy covers them too.
Cookies are either "strictly necessary" (the site cannot work properly without them) or "optional" (they need your permission). First-party cookies are set by this site; third-party cookies are set by other services.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These keep the site working and secure. They do not need your consent, and they cannot be switched off in the banner.
| Purpose | What it does | Lifetime | | --- | --- | --- | | Cookie choice (bs_consent) | Remembers what you chose in the cookie banner, so we do not ask again on every page. It holds a random decision ID, the policy version, your choices and the time. | 12 months | | Form spam protection | When you use the early access form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are a person and not a bot. It may use short-lived technical data from your browser for that check, and it is not used for advertising or to follow you across sites. | Session or short-lived | | Admin session | A session cookie used only when site editors sign in to manage the website. Regular visitors never receive it. | Session |
Optional: embedded media (media)
Some pages may embed content from other services, such as a video or a map. Those services may set their own cookies and receive your IP address when they load. We block this content until you allow the "Embedded media" category. If you reject it, a placeholder is shown instead and nothing is loaded from the other service.
If a page does not embed third-party content, this category has no effect.
What we do not use
- No advertising or marketing cookies. We do not use cookies to show you ads or to follow you between websites.
- No cookie-based analytics. We count visits without cookies and without storing your IP address or browser details. For each visit we compute a one-way hash from your IP address, browser user agent and a random value that changes every day. Only the hash, the page path, a broad device type and a simplified traffic source are kept. The hash is deleted after two days and cannot be linked back to you. Because nothing is stored on your device, this counting does not need a cookie or a consent choice. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
- No third-party analytics or tracking scripts.
Managing your choices
- The banner. When you first visit, you can accept or reject optional cookies, or open Preferences to choose by category. Accept and Reject are equally easy.
- Change your mind later. Use the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of any page to reopen the banner and change or withdraw your choice at any time.
- Your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working, for example the early access form, and we will be unable to remember your cookie choice. Browser help pages explain how to do this.
- Third-party cookies. To remove cookies set by other services after you allowed them, clear them in your browser. If you withdraw consent for embedded media, the content is blocked again, and a page reload may be needed for it to disappear.
When you make or change a choice, we store a record of it (a random decision ID, the time, the policy version, your choices and a salted hash of your IP address) to show that we respected it. The raw IP address and user agent are not stored.
Changes
We may update this policy if we add or remove cookies or change how we use them. The effective date above shows when it last changed. If we ever add optional cookies in a new category, we will ask for your permission again.
