Appearance

Tune the Liquid Glass look and the accent color, and set up zoom, panels and the session list the way you like.

BeyDock is built on Liquid Glass from macOS 26. Its window is a single piece of glass, so your desktop shows through softly behind it. The app uses a dark appearance.

Liquid Glass

Open Settings › Appearance. In the Liquid Glass section, a live preview shows how the glass looks over a bright background. Drag the glass slider between its two ends:

  • Clear lets more of the desktop show through.
  • Tinted darkens the glass so text stays readable over bright windows.

If you move the slider away from the default, a Reset button appears. The change applies everywhere immediately.

Accent color

In the Theme section, choose an Accent color: System, Blue, Purple, Pink, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Graphite or Custom. Choosing Custom shows a color picker next to the swatches.

  • System follows the accent color you set in macOS and keeps primary buttons white.
  • Other colors also tint primary buttons such as Allow and Send.

Zoom the conversation

In the View menu:

  • Zoom In is ⌘+.
  • Zoom Out is ⌘-.
  • Actual Size is ⌘0.

Zoom changes the text size in the conversation and in the Terminal pane.

Panels and sidebar

  • Toggle Sidebar is ⌘\.
  • The side panels open from the View menu: Details (⌥⌘I), Background Tasks (⌥⌘B), Changes (⌥⌘D), Files (⌥⌘E), Terminal (⌥⌘T) and Browser (⌥⌘P).

The View options button in the sidebar controls the session list:

  • Status and Device filters.
  • Group by and Sort by.
  • Sessions per group: 3, 5, 10 or All.
  • Show empty groups.
  • Show PR status, which shows the state of each session's pull request.

Use the search field above the list to find a session by title or folder.

Motion

Every change in the interface animates. If you turn on Reduce Motion in System Settings, BeyDock replaces sliding and scaling with a short fade.
